As Creative Director and owner of a leading London design agency for many years I helped many brands evolve and grow. I always aimed to provide clarity and direction during the early phases of projects and ensure that a strong link existed between those early conversations through to the final creative execution. Now as a brand consultant I usually work with clients before design agencies are briefed, but my aim remains the same - a brand that reflects it’s values in the way it looks and feels.
During the last 25 years I have worked with some of the biggest brand names. Some of the larger clients include, Unilever, Diageo, Smith and Nephew, Sainsbury’s and there have been many smaller ones across diverse sectors from food and drink to financial services to start-up tech. In most cases the brand owners recognised the need to refresh or rejuvenate their visual identity and wanted an agency to work on this specific project. However, this often started a strong partnership that has lasted for many years and lots of exciting new projects. I find these long term partnerships are always the most satisfying relationships, in both business and personal terms!
Usually I’m quite busy talking and thinking about brands but now I work primarily from home it gives me a bit more time to fit in a bit of painting and drawing. When I have more time, I love to travel and now things are getting back to normal I’m looking forward to seeing more of the world.
